This is based off of the first volume, chapter two, pages one-thirteen to one-sixteen (http://www.manga2u.com/Red_River/2/113/).



Red River, or Anatolia Story, is a cute romance filled with murder and suspense. This is a great manga made in the mid 1990's.

He was more than angry with the child. She hadn't listened to a word he had said. A fear like no other had gripped his heart when she collapsed in his arms. Finding her wounded had send him into a panic and Kali took her back to his palace.



When he entered his front hall, he ordered for his doctor before proceeding to his quarters. After, she had been tended to the prince reclined on his bed and popped grapes into his mouth as his eyes watched her.



Kali picked the gold cup, filled with sweet wine, and took a long drink when he heard the girl stir. The man set the drink down. “Awake already? How do you feel?” he asked, their eyes connected before Yuri realized she worn no clothing.



She shot up and screamed. 'M-My clothes!' she thought as she grabbed the sheet, wrapping it around her body.



“Tito was under the Queen's control. I tried looking into it a bit. I'm sure the Queen is plotting something,” he told her, noticing her behavior. “What's wrong?” Kali asked, not sure why she was startled. Yuri spun to face him and he saw a flash of fear. “Oh, your wound was nothing major. I gave you some medicine, so you should heal soon.



“Medicine,” Yuri mumbled. “Ah, so you treated me. Even so, you didn't have to take all my clothes.” But she had also heard Kali's words. 'It seems that the Queen plans to do whatever it takes to kill me, but the Queen's also the only one who can return me to the twentieth century. What should I do?'



Kali suddenly felt relieved but watched her expression. “Does it hurt?” he asked her.



“No, not much, thanks to you,” she told him. When he touched the sheet around her, Yuri turned to face him.



He pulled the fabric back, exposing her nude body, and leaned in to kiss her wound, pushing her down on the bed.
